Toshiba 19" TV
We purchased the Toshiba 19" digital TV for our kitchen. We wanted a TV that had DVD capability, was white, and would fit neatly on our kitchen counter. The Toshiba met all these criteria. We were disappointed in this sets performance though. The sound has to be cranked way up to hear it at normal levels, especially in DVD mode. The picture is also on the dark side. If you set the brightness to high, the blacks will become gray. The picture on our Sony 46" XBR flat screen is far superior.

Great picture. No problem with sound. It does take extra time when you change a channel to get the picture, but other than that it works fine for a bedroom tv. The white casing goes great with my white bedroom furniture :o)
I would recommend this item.

Slow tuning only complaint
We bought this TV for our bedroom. Great picture, features, etc. Love the built-in DVD. I was shocked however at how slow the tuner is. It is easily 3-5 seconds when changing channels. My wife says I deserve it since I'm such a channel surfer. :) As for the audio, I would never have realized that was a concern for anyone until I read these reviews. I guess we don't turn it up that loud. Sounds great to me.

Overall, I think this TV is a good buy and would purchase it again.
