Great Purchase
I just received my TH-58PZ800U. WOW. What a nice picture! Clear, sharp, vivid colors. I was contemplating getting a 61-inch Samsung HL61A750. I went to Best Buys to compare it with others. I noticed the plasmas were all brighter looking. After doing more "review" searching, I read about the Panasonic. I am very happy that I spent more money on the Panasonic! The Panasonic is replacing our Sony 55" DLP. We noticed a lot more detail in the HDTV and the colors are outstanding!! Amazon had the best pricing - especially with the "White Glove" delivery. A very quick delivery - 3 days before the "estimated" time. They brought the TV into the great room, unboxed it, set it on the stand and placed it in the cabinet. A quick hookup and all checked out OK. They advised to "keep" the box for awhile. They were very courteous and helpful. I would highly recommend getting this HDTV and get it from AMAZON!! Also the AVS Forum has excellent information on this model with great "tweaks" and setup info.

Got this to replace a Mitsubishi 62inch dlp. The picture is SO MUCH sharper, colors deeper, richer, it's hard to believe! Even tho' the screen is a little smaller, the view is so much better. The colors/picture remains sharp even when viewing from an angle, and in a well lit room with lots of chance for reflection. I am VERY happy with this tv. HOWEVER-WARNING - the first one we received worked for 5 minutes then wouldn't turn on again. Apparently this is a not-uncommon problem with panasonic. Amazon was great about taking it back and giving us a replacement, but i'm keeping my fingers crossed that the same problem doesn't develop with this set.

One happy camper despite small issue.
Did lots of research before buying this model and am pleased with the picture when viewing HD content and was pleased with the white glove delivery. I am experiencing a small issue and have had several coversations with Panasonic about it--they're as puzzled as I am over this. I replaced a 2 year old 58inch Panasonic plasma with this new model and was surprised that the DirecTv menus and channel guides that were so crisp and sharp on the old set look a bit out of focus and fuzzy on the new one. The actual picture quality of HD programming content looks terrific but some older content and the DirecTv menus look a bit rugged when they didn't on the older set. I have a good quality HDMI cable so I doubt that connection has anything to do with it and the resolution is set correctly on my DirecTv box. Any ideas?

Overall, I'm extremely happy with this purchase and also with the performance of my new Panasonic BluRay player. Together they're a fantasic combo and make for a first rate viewing experience.

I got the TV right when I expected it. It arrived in excellent condition and the even removed it from the box, carried it upstairs and placed it in the room of my choice. Needless to say, I am very pleased with the TV so far. Setting it up was a breeze. It has a very intuitive menu. The picture is amazingly clear. It is like I am not watching the show but experiencing it for real. I highly recommend this product.

Finally upgraded, couldn't be happier
Ordered this TV on 12/19/08, received 12/24/08, a full week earlier than estimated. The men from CEVA called early Christmas Eve morning to arrange delivery and were at my house before noon. They brought it in, unboxed it, set it up on my stand, made sure it powered up and had picture with no problems. It was a few days before the installer came out with my HD dish and receiver, but wow. Just wow. After getting it all hooked up to my home theater and programming my Harmony remote, I have died and gone to HD Heaven. I just want to sit and stare at it for hours. Football games and sporting events are where this set really shines. The detail you can see at 1080p is unlike most other HDTV sets in this price range, not to mention the screen size. My wife was concerned with how large it looked in the store, and it is big, but when we finished playing around with it and started looking at programming in HD, we both asked ourselves why we waited so long. For me, it was price. I had been looking at the Samsung DLP's for over a year, and I really wanted the model with the LED engine because of its reviews, how quiet and long lasting and energy efficient it is. I have to say, my experience has been nothing short of what I hoped for. I was hesitant to make such a large electronics purchase through Amazon, but this TV and their price on it, with free shipping, white glove delivery and no state tax....eased my fears. Do it. You will not regret it.

White glove service was great
Sony picture is fantastic. Delivery took one week, box was pristine on arrival. They called to set up a time and were prompt. I was nervous about delivery because I live in a small town (Bend, OR.), and wasn't sure I could get white glove delivery. They came from Portland, OR., over three hours away, and the other side of the Cascade mountain range. Two guys who even helped me mount it on my wall bracket! After reading some of the comments about delivery problems, I can say Ceva transportation was perfect.

I looked long, and did lots of research before purchasing this model.
It has very good color, no problems with fast motion (hockey games are a good test)

The only negative is that the Ethernet connection is only for updates, and does not have web access. You'd think it would have been a no brainer.

It was delivered, on time, for free, by two guys in a van. They unboxed it, and made sure it powered up. No problems there.

The price was good, not the lowest on the Internet, but there was no attempt to sell me any accessories, like the New York camera stores do, and what I got was new and not gray market, it was worth it. The Amazon guy on the phone was polite and helpful.

Big TV in the living room
Yep, I finally gave in and let my husband put a 52" Sony LCD in the living room. I am happy to report that the delivery carrier was on time, courteous, and competent, and the TV has no apparent problems. I am amazed at the functionality - seems more like a computer than a TV. The Wii hookup took just seconds; the USB connection allows me to show photos from a jump drive. Thankfully, the learning curve has been minimal.
