TV is everything that I could have hopre fore except expensive.
This tv is what you want. It looks great. I bought one for my parents to replace their old rear projection 1080i tv. And the difference id amazing. All of the detail we were missing on the ps3 games has been found.

Great TV and Great Service
I bought this TV in September from Amazon with more than a slight trepidation of ordering such an item online and having it shipped to me. The delivery service company called me to schedule a time to deliver the TV. When they delivered it, they brought it into my apartment, took it out of the box, and plugged it in to ensure it was still working. Since then. the TV has gone through an apartment move and it's come out picture perfect.

I'm definitely no videophile who will notice the minute differences between all of the various settings that the TV allows. However, I will say that I'm greatly pleased with the picture quality and number of inputs. I'm sure it will last me for many years to come.

Pricing Keeps Changing
I haven't purchased this item yet Samsung(LN52A650, LN52A750, LN52A850, LN52A860 or LN55A950), because every time I look at the pricing it changes on Amazon. I noticed that the price went down several times each day as the "White Glove Delivery" was not available after Christmas and shortly before New Years. Now Amazon is offering the "White Glove Delivery" again after New Years and the price keeps going up every day. What's up with the pricing increase and decrease. Do you think you are going to sell more TV's this way?
I as I see it, the product looks great, the reviews are great but one thing that I don't understand is why the manufacture doesn't offer a longer warrenty. 1 year is not long, especially when you are spending $1,500 or more for a TV. Who wants the power supply go out or some other problem go wrong with the TV after 1 year? Then you have to make arrangements with a TV repair shop to come out to the house or take your TV into the shop, pay a minimum of $200 or more to get it fixed and only have a 3 month warrenty. I just don't understand.
I have an old 27" Sony TV that still works and it's over 20 years old. Is it because most of the TV's are made in China? Can someone speak to this? I don't want to through good money after bad merchandise....
